Job Overview

RMI seeks a motivated professional for the role of Workplace Standard Auditor & Trainer to support growth in its activities in India and strengthen its support to upstream supply chain actors located in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. The successful candidate will be based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, working closely with RMI's governance bodies, executive team, members, and partners under the supervision of the Director of Programmes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct gap assessments of Indian mica processors and mines versus RMI's Global Workplace Standard (GWS) and forthcoming mining standard.
  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans and follow up on progress in terms of compliance with RMI workplace and due diligence standards.
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocols for RMI members and liaise with accredited external auditing companies.
  • Develop training content for auditors on RMI standards and conduct online or face-to-face training sessions.
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports, analyze audit data, and build presentations for the team and members.
District Level Engagement
  • Build and maintain a network with local district governmental officers and authorities, regularly updating them on RMI's progress, planned activities, and challenges.
