Seeking a Medical Officer to oversee the health and well-being of our workforce. As part of this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment through thorough hazard assessments and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Health Hazard Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure all relevant statutory requirements are met under Factories Act & Rajasthan Factories Rules.
  • General Health Procedures: Develop and implement protocols aligned with ISO standards and best practices.
  • Referral Services: Establish relationships with local hospitals and specialists for referrals as needed.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Medical Examinations: Conduct medical checks on employees to ensure fitness before deployment.
  • First-Aid Care: Provide emergency medical treatment and maintain first-aid kits.
  • Health Checks: Coordinate visits from certifying surgeons and conduct necessary health checks.
  • Medicine Management: Maintain inventory of essential medicines and antidotes at the Occupational Health Centre.
  • Employee Records: Keep accurate records of employee health trends and provide necessary advice.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Budget Management: Monitor and control Medical Centre revenue budget.
  • Capital Projects: Identify and propose capital expenditure projects for OHC improvements.

People Responsibilities:

  • Training Sessions: Organize training sessions on occupational hazards, first aid, personal hygiene, and environmental sanitation.
  • Collaboration: Work with Site EHS lead to improve leading HSE metrics and enhance EHS management.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: MBBS degree and Diploma in Industrial Health (DIH) or equivalent recognized by state government.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-8 years of experience in managing OHC in an industrial setup.
