Job Title: Wellness Nutrition Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of employees and patients visiting the Occupational Health Centre to identify potential health risks.
  • Create personalized diet charts for employees with lifestyle disorders, such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and cardiovascular conditions, to promote healthy eating habits.
  • Provide expert dietary guidance for individuals exposed to occupational hazards, high-temperature environments, and physically demanding tasks to minimize the risk of work-related illnesses.
  • Design balanced, nutritious menus for contract workforce canteens and plant canteens, ensuring alignment with occupational health and energy needs.
  • Maintain high food quality, hygiene standards, and portioning in canteens to ensure compliance with nutrition and safety norms.
  • Counsel employees on healthy eating practices to prevent occupational fatigue and lifestyle-related illnesses.
  • Develop comprehensive nutrition programs to support worker well-being, immunity, and energy levels.
  • Deliver awareness sessions, workshops, and health talks on balanced diet, workplace nutrition, hydration, and stress-related eating.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists, to provide holistic patient care.
  • Record and maintain accurate records of dietary assessments, menu plans, interventions, and progress for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated on best practices in clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and industrial dietary management to deliver high-quality services.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent is essential.
  • Registered Dietician certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dietician, preferably in occupational health, hospital, or industrial healthcare setup.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
  • Experience in large-scale menu planning and industrial canteen management is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills are required.
