Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

  • Design and implement complex network infrastructure for customers, supporting WAN, LAN, WLAN on a multi-vendor network with Juniper, Aruba, Mist, Cradlepoint, and Cisco devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain detailed documentation for network implementation, including change approval processes.
  2. Support and coach other engineers to provide high-quality services and solutions to customers.
  3. Lead and define project strategies to deliver complex projects.
  4. Manage deliverables for customer design and implementation projects.
  5. Perform advanced analysis for complex incidents and act as escalation engineer for internal organizations and clients.
  6. Provide fourth-level support for operations as part of the incident and problem management process.
  7. Develop processes for other engineers to follow for successful solution delivery.
  8. Lead and own projects, driving them to a successful conclusion with a small team of engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to product portfolio areas.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, WLAN.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN also highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN and LAN beneficial.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for daily communication with native and non-native English speakers.

Experience:

  • Eight or more years' technical experience in designing and implementing large-scale customer networks.
  • Experience within telecommunication organisations or international companies would be beneficial.
  • Ability to give guidance and coaching to other engineers at a technical level.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written communications, and presentation skills.
  • Flexible work attitude, willing to work irregular hours when required, but knowing how to set boundaries and find a healthy work-life balance.
  • Ability to cope with company politics and personal relationships.
  • Professional level of personal and business communication from operational engineering to customer technical contacts.
  • Ability to work proactively and reactively in an autonomous manner.
