Finance Credit Controller

Responsibilities include managing the Order to cash cycle for circulation revenue, billing, credit & recovery management and compliance. The role involves analysing business risks and ensuring timely collections.

About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring error free revenue recognition and effective recoveries of outstanding's in a team that oversees multiple branches. Key responsibilities include dealer interface role, controllership role, banking, legal & compliances and IT tools expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dealer Interface Role: Ensuring billing to all agencies, dispute resolution management with agencies and customers, maintaining existing and new customer codes properly with proper documentation.
  • Controllership Role: Booking of value addition orders/invoice regrading sponsorship etc, reconciliation between dealer and finance ledger balances, coordination with auditors internal, statutory and IFC audit, revenue accounting experience.
  • Banking: Managing interface with banks on banking products, clearing of collection etc, calculation of classified, display and canvasser incentive, month closing checklist adherence, initiating process control/cost control measures.
  • Legal & Compliances: GST & TDS compliance, exposure to reconciliation of debtors, provision for expenses, cost ledger, vendor payment etc, exposure to legal contracts, barter arrangement etc, exposure to budgeting exercise, exposure to document management setup.
  • IT Tools: Customer database maintenance, working knowledge in SAP, high knowledge on Excel, word, power point, power BI.
Requirements:
  • A Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant qualification around 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in accounting in service industry.
  • Good communication skill, time management, process management skills, result orientation.
