Job Overview

The position of Chef de Partie requires a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to oversee food production in various sections of the kitchen.

  • Maintain high-quality food production while adhering to established recipes and guidelines.

  • Conduct regular inventory management, controlling costs and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior officers and corporate teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Production Management: Oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment by guiding and mentoring team members, promoting open communication, and recognizing achievements.
  • Cost Control: Implement effective strategies to minimize expenses, maximize resource utilization, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Develop creative solutions to complex kitchen challenges, leveraging knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredient sourcing, and equipment operation.
Qualifications and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in upscale hotels, resorts, cruise ships, or convention banqueting services, with at least 2 years as a Chef de Partie.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and environments.

Additional requirements include proficiency in computer software, intermediate-level understanding of accounting principles, and strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating skills.
