Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Business Central Work Stream Test Lead to spearhead system and end-to-end testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for scoping, planning, and executing comprehensive test strategies that ensure high-quality delivery of BC projects. Key deliverables include system test and E2E test scoping, conducting workshops with business stakeholders and BAs, defining test scripts from business requirements, functional specs, and user stories, managing onshore and offshore resources, and maintaining RAID logs and escalating issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Strategy Development: Design and implement robust test plans and strategies to ensure thorough coverage of business processes and requirements.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Run workshops with business stakeholders and BAs to gather requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Test Scripting: Develop clear and concise test scripts from business requirements, functional specs, and user stories.
  • Resource Management: Manage onshore and offshore resources, delegating tasks and ensuring timely execution.
  • Reporting and Escalation: Report progress to the Test Manager, maintain RAID logs, and escalate issues as necessary.

Skillset:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC): Expert-level knowledge of BC modules, including Record to Report (R2R) and Financials.
  • Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
