Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused professional with excellent communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.

The role involves providing technical support for various applications, including 3rd party and home-grown software. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the configuration and troubleshooting of SFTP, Mulesoft, MoveIT, FinOPS, and other related systems.
  • Performing detailed log analysis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Conducting root cause analysis to determine the source of problems and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with development teams to create and document application infrastructure requirements.
  • Providing detailed ticket notes and communicating with stakeholders to ensure business continuity.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in application support and troubleshooting. Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of help desk support experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in application support for SFTP, Mulesoft, MoveIT, FinOPS, etc.
  • Proficiency in API concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and change management.
  • General knowledge of Windows Desktop/Windows Server support.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL is a plus.
  • Well-versed in SFTP concepts.
  • Familiarity with MoveIT, configuration, and Automation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Tanium is a plus.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools - LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Elastic, etc.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Managed Services or Consulting experience.
  • A college degree or equivalent in Information Systems or related field.
