Job Overview

As a seasoned Production Support Senior Engineer, you will be part of an application monitoring team that covers request servicing, application monitoring and system healthcare for global clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver first and second-line support for application monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Ensure effective management of platform alerts to minimize system downtime and disruption.
  • Proactively monitor the platform to identify and address potential issues before they impact service.
Leadership & Development
  • Mentor junior team members in technical skills and best practices.
  • Monitor team performance and continually seek improvement opportunities for skills and processes.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation on team activities to ensure adherence and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in software development or IT.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL with ability to troubleshoot complex database queries.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with financial markets and products is highly desirable.
  • Experience using application support systems such as PagerDuty, NewRelic, Splunk, and ServiceNow would be advantageous.
