Job Title: SME Banking Relationship Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SME Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at DBS Bank. As a key member of our Institutional Liabilities team, you will be responsible for originating new business relationships with SME clients, driving liabilities sales, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new business relationships with SME clients, focusing on cash-rich segments, including MNCs, e-commerce, and digital companies.
  • Drive liabilities sales through new client acquisition, meeting targets for operating accounts, term deposits, and other transaction banking products.
  • Leverage relationships with intermediaries, such as law firms, CA/CS firms, and consultancy firms, to source deals in the M&A and PE/VC space.
  • Support Regional Sales Heads in implementing liabilities strategy and meeting revenue budgets from origination.
  • Collaborate with internal product partners to commercialize various product rollouts catering to identified client segments.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of sales experience, preferably in liabilities, cash management, and transaction banking.
  • Strong market knowledge and experience in the mid-market/SME segment, with a focus on the liability segment.
  • Postgraduate degree, preferably with a CA and/or MBA in Marketing Finance.

Core Competencies:

  • Good understanding of the sales process and ability to open conversations with CXOs.
  • Sound knowledge of cash management, FX, and trade, which are key revenue drivers.
  • Good technical knowledge of transaction banking business and regulatory environment.
  • Good team worker and ability to work with internal product partners.
  • Good customer and relationship management skills.
