Job Summary:

  • We seek a seasoned Accounts Payable professional to lead our AP department.
  • This critical role ensures timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports, while managing staff, enforcing financial controls, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily oversight of AP operations, including invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and vendor relationship management.
  • Supervise and support accounts payable staff in their daily tasks, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze processes to identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Responsible for monitoring vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies, and fostering strong supplier relationships.
  • Assist with audits, month-end, and year-end closing activities, generating relevant reports and supporting financial planning and analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in accounts payable or accounting, showcasing expertise in accounting principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
