Job Opportunity: Accounts Leadership Role
This is a key position within the finance department, responsible for preparing and submitting financial statements to executive management, maintaining Management Information Systems (MIS) and reports on budgeting, cash flow, turnover, customer outstanding, and collection statement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial statements to senior management, maintaining MIS and reports on budgeting, cash flow, turnover, customer outstanding, and collection statement.
- Work with the team to automate invoice processing and expense modules, integrating Tally Prime with banking, sales, and purchase Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
- E-file statutory returns and assessments, including income tax, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), transfer pricing, advance tax projections, and routine implications under Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Provident Fund (PF).
- Liaise with external auditors for successful completion of annual audit and completion of relevant Registrar of Companies (ROC)/Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) filings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 15+ years' experience in the manufacturing or forging industry.
Key Skills:
- Proven ability to manage monthly reporting and quarterly presentation of results to the Board.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software, Tally features for automation, auditing, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Expertise in taxation laws, including TDS, income tax, and GST provisions applicable to businesses operating in India.
- Deep understanding of auditing and accounting reporting standards applicable to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) as defined under the Companies Act, 2013.
