Job Overview

The Assistant Treasury Manager is a key role within the Treasury Operations team, responsible for managing and optimizing short-term liquidity.

This position plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely cash management and supporting global financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily tasks related to cash management, including monitoring cash balances, bank reporting, and maintaining treasury dashboards.
  2. Prepare detailed forecasts of cash flows and conduct variance analysis between projected and actual statements.
  3. Manage the organization's relationships with banks and overall liquidity.
  4. Oversee and manage debt schedules, ensuring all obligations are met on time.
  5. Coordinate with global counterparts and banks to reconcile and record activities, ensuring accurate and timely wire payments.
  6. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain records.
  7. Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to gather data for forecasting and to facilitate banking transactions and approvals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing treasury or cash management functions.
  • Proficiency in financial and cash management principles.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced computer software skills, particularly with Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Interest in process improvement, with a focus on defining and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • A team player able to effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple departments.
