Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Collector to manage customer account reconciliations, monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collection. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.

About the Role:

  • Customer / Debtor Account Reconciliation: Resolve discrepancies between ledger balances and customer statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receivables and reconciliation reports.
  • Payment Follow-ups & Collection: Follow up with customers for overdue invoices and pending payments.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Accounting & Payment Allocation: Record and allocate incoming payments accurately against the respective invoices.
  • Update customer ledgers and track partial, excess or advance payments.
  • Internal Coordination: Liaise with sales, supply chain and customer service teams to resolve issues related to debit notes, RTV, pricing and product returns.
  • Escalate delays and discrepancies internally for prompt resolution.
  • Reporting & MIS: Prepare and present AR aging reports and collection summaries.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
  • 2–4 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable or collections.
  • Proficient in ERP software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
  • Good command over MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
