Ship Construction Site Leader

A seasoned professional with a proven track record in leading complex engineering operations and multidisciplinary teams is required to oversee all aspects of ship construction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of shipyard processes, including fabrication, fitting, outfitting, and commissioning. They will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring shipbuilding and repair projects from start to finish, achieving set milestones and deadlines.

The successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills, as well as the ability to lead and mentor department heads across core functions. They will also drive compliance with safety and environmental regulations, conducting audits and mitigating risks.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, marine, or industrial engineering or similar field; master's degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
  • At least 15-20 years of experience in shipbuilding or engineering project management, with 5+ years at a senior management level.
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex engineering operations and multidisciplinary teams.
