Financial Accounting Consultant Job Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled financial accounting consultant to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with a particular emphasis on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting Implementation: Lead and manage SAP FI module implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
  • Cloud Expertise: Utilize deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, including integration with other modules, to drive successful deployments.
  • Business Process Improvement: Work closely with stakeholders to analyze current processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and performance within the SAP FI module.
  • Configuration & Customization: Perform detailed configuration of SAP FI modules to align with business requirements, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders.
  • Integration: Collaborate with other SAP module consultants to ensure seamless integration between FI and other modules like MM, SD, PP, and HR.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Training & Support: Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of the SAP FI system post-implementation.
  • Project Management: Lead project teams in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to budgets.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that the SAP FI solution meets all compliance requirements and supports accurate financial reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10-12 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI module implementation and support.
  • Cloud Experience: At least one full life cycle implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP FI configuration, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud functionalities, and integration points with other SAP modules.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP certification in FI and/or S/4HANA is highly desirable.
