Senior Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, preparing and processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries to provide insights into our company's financial performance.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring prompt payment and follow-up on outstanding balances.
  • Utilize accounting software to perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
