Inventory Management Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Inventory Management Specialist to leverage their technical expertise in managing and optimizing inventory operations.

About the Role

This challenging role involves leading the development, installation, and configuration of Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) cartridges. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring extension points and rule sets for advanced customization and modeling both logical and physical inventory within UIM cartridges.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leverage technical expertise to manage and optimize inventory operations.
  • Lead the development, installation, and configuration of Oracle UIM cartridges.
  • Configure extension points and rule sets for advanced customization.
  • Model both logical and physical inventory within UIM cartridges.
  • Integrate UIM with upstream and downstream systems using standard and custom web services, UIM APIs, and Service Framework Web Services (SFWS).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support end-to-end implementations while ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Oracle UIM (7.2.x).
  • Experience in cartridge development, rule set development, and customization.
  • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and Unix shell scripting.
  • Core technical skills in Java, PL/SQL, and WebServices (development and debugging).
  • Knowledge of network domains such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, and VoIP.
  • Exposure to Enterprise and Retail Voice/Data/GSM implementations.
  • Conceptual modeling knowledge for logical and physical inventory.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RODOD/RSDOD and TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Quick learner with an aptitude for mastering new products and solutions.
