About the Role

The RM Store Specialist position is a critical component of our organization's supply chain management strategy. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the raw material store, ensuring that all raw materials are properly stored, labeled, and managed in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Manage day-to-day inventory operations including receipt, storage, issuance, and record maintenance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all raw materials are properly labeled, identified, and stored as per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Stock Verification: Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and reconciliation of physical vs. system stock.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Quality teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials without disruption.
  • FIFO/FEFO System: Maintain FIFO/FEFO system for material issuance.
  • Storage Conditions: Monitor storage conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanliness) to maintain material quality.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and other regulatory requirements for raw material handling.
  • Documentation: Manage documentation including GRNs, stock registers, bin cards, and SAP/ERP entries.
  • Material Disposal: Identify slow-moving, non-moving, or expired raw materials and coordinate for proper disposal as per guidelines.
  • Audit Support: Support audits (internal/external) by ensuring documentation accuracy and store readiness.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Educational Background: Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics/Science/Commerce or related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in raw material store management (preferably in pharmaceuticals/medical devices/ manufacturing industry).
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or equivalent).
  • Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of inventory management techniques (FIFO, FEFO, JIT), strong understanding of ISO 13485, GMP, and regulatory compliance related to raw material handling.
