The role of an Internal Communications Strategist is a pivotal one, as it involves spearheading the creation and execution of engaging internal campaigns that foster a strong sense of culture and connection among employees.

This position requires a unique blend of creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting impactful messages that resonate with employees at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft Campaigns That Matter: Develop and implement end-to-end internal communications campaigns that drive employee engagement and inspire a sense of purpose.
  • Design with Impact: Translate ideas into visually appealing content using design tools such as Canva and Corel Draw.
  • Communication In Motion: Create multimedia messaging that brings stories to life and resonates with employees.
  • Be the On-Ground Voice: Support local leadership with communications touchpoints, employee events, and activation campaigns.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with HR, Admin, Facilities, L&D, and BU leaders to create unified and strategic messaging.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–4 years in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate brand storytelling.
  • Design Acumen: Hands-on experience with Canva, Corel Draw (or Illustrator) is a must. Knowledge of Photoshop is a strong plus.
  • Any Editing Software – Adobe Photoshop, Canva Video, etc.
  • Brand Thinking: Solid understanding of brand voice, tone, and visual consistency.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, visual comms or a related field.
  • AI Curiosity: Exposure to creative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E) is a bonus.
