System Infrastructure Expert Required

We are seeking an experienced and skilled system infrastructure professional to deploy, manage and maintain our large Unix server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of OS administration, particularly Unix, Linux, and Red Hat Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploying, managing and maintaining large Unix server infrastructure
  • Installing, configuring, migrating, performance tuning, troubleshooting, security, failover, and load management of business application servers in various environments
  • Performing Unix update management tasks and resolving issues
  • Debugging and problem analysis
  • Managing network requirements for Unix Server Infrastructure
  • Maintaining virtualized environment, storage, and network

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Unix Servers operating system Administration
  • Experience in Redhat Satellite, Capsule, and Template Management
  • Knowledge on scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, and similar
  • Good hands-on experience in managing and understanding network requirements for Unix Server Infrastructure
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Degree in Engineering, MCA, Computer Science Graduate or PG

About the Role:

As a system infrastructure expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Unix server infrastructure. You will work closely with the team to deploy, manage and maintain large Unix server infrastructure, installing, configuring, migrating, performance tuning, troubleshooting, security, failover, and load management of business application servers in various environments.
