**Job Title:** Software Development Leader

As a seasoned professional, you will lead the development of software solutions that drive business growth and success. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in shaping our software development strategy and ensuring its effective execution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Pave the way for agile delivery by removing technology blockers and streamlining processes.
  • Plan, define, and design solutions that enable velocity through tech enablers such as DevOps, containerisation, and API-first design.
  • Work with Chapter leads to define and forecast software capability requirements and support implementation of practices, tooling, and training.
  • Drive operational excellence and support teams in charge of mission-critical production services with diverse stakeholders and complex dependencies.
  • Ensure good design, refactoring, and technical debt elimination, making sure technical debt and associated impacts are visible to stakeholders and working with POs to reduce it over time.
  • Manage delivery within funding allocation and actively manage and mitigate delivery and delivered risk.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
  • Sound knowledge of large-scale distributed systems, Microservices, and Rest API Integration.
  • Cloud - AWS large scale data warehouse implementation experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, C#) and experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
  • A keen interest in researching new AI tooling and daily user of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Continue, GitHub CoPilot, Aider, Cline, etc.
  • Knowledge of or experience in Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Cursor, windsurf / Codeium, VO Vercel, Continue, Aider, Cline, Langchain, Langgraph, Hugging Face is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems.
  • Ability to provide technical direction to teams, reviewing designs and code to ensure best practices.
  • Agile development methodologies and iterative experimentation from ideation to prototype to pilot to product.
