About the Role

This is a captivating opportunity for an accomplished piping design expert to lead complex engineering projects. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing piping design and layout activities, ensuring that deliverables meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead piping design and layout activities for complex engineering projects.
  • Prepare and review piping GA drawings, isometrics, MTOs, and support drawings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (process, structural, mechanical, instrumentation, etc.)
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using advanced 3D modeling tools.
  • Evaluate designs against project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Develop and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, capturing requirements and delivering effective solutions.
  • Understand client needs and perform tasks based on inputs.
  • Acknowledge and apply knowledge of marine classification societies, standards, and rules.
  • Communicate effectively, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Maintain timely delivery of design packages while adhering to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Identify risks, deviations, and propose corrective actions to maintain design integrity.
  • Interact with procurement and vendors for equipment/piping interface requirements.
  • Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams with design clarifications and site queries.
  • Produce comprehensive design documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • 4–12 years of experience in piping design or relevant senior-level experience.
  • Familiarity with Marine/Offshore projects is highly desirable.
