Job Title: Senior Drainage Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Drainage Engineer to join our specialist drainage design team in Bengaluru. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of drainage projects through various stages of the design process.
  • Prepare designs and specifications under the supervision of more senior staff.
  • Conduct technical checking and design reviews.
  • Train and mentor junior staff.
  • Attend design review meetings and progress meetings with clients.
  • Prepare fee estimates, staff utilisation forecasts, and define project scopes.
  • Manage a small team and undertake line management responsibilities.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience within a consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record of dealing with clients and forging effective relationships.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of working to UK standards.
  • Adept in the use of AutoCAD, Microstation & Civil3D.
  • Proficient in the use of standard MS Office software and Causeway Flow/MicroDrainage.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer within 1-2 years.
