About the Role



We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager, ML Data Ops, to join our team at ADCI - Haryana. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by leading a team of 10 to 15 associates with expertise in one or more processes/functions and proficient in languages other than English.



Key Responsibilities





  • Execute and make plans to deliver business metrics, and use data to set/revisit operational goals and manage activities

  • Work with internal/ external teams and use their knowledge and expertise to execute business goals

  • Manage escalation; analyze data; highlight trends, gaps, etc.; and report key metrics

  • Participate and provide adequate support in business reviews with mid-level and senior stakeholders

  • Plan capacity and commit to volume by managing resources, queue, shift management, cross training, and leave management

  • Own and prioritize work allocation based on business needs with a daily/monthly frequency

  • Own the output quality of the process managed

  • Perform deep-dive analysis and create COEs (Correction of Error) based on the deviation, problem, root cause, and solutions

  • Initiate and lead process improvement projects, present solution proposals, and implement them to other applicable/in-scope operational areas

  • Handle and resolve conflicts in their teams / processes in partnership with right stakeholders.

  • Participate in new-process onboarding, i.e., new process/experiments with complete documentation

  • Demonstrate understanding of performance and leadership bar, applies it effectively to team members and to new hiring decisions

  • Build robust launch plans for new team members & own progress tracking of new joiners through administration of launch plans as a mechanism and not just good intentions

  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports

  • Devises and implements performance improvement plans for associates

  • Willingness to work with sensitive issues, including but not limited to: Adult content, Religious and philosophically sensitive issues, tobacco, weapons and other potentially offensive products



Qualifications





  • Graduate degree in any discipline

  • 7+ years of work experience

  • 2+ years of managing front line managers

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Strong verbal and written communication.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Demonstrated ability of using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience in workforce and capacity planning

  • Well versed in employee development and performance management skills and strategies including performance reviews, goal setting, and providing feedback



Preferred Qualifications





  • MBA from a reputed institution or university preferred

  • Familiarity with online retail (e-commerce)

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt

  • Working knowledge of SQL and Machine learning will be an added advantage
