Structural Engineering Lead

We seek an experienced structural engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects from conception to completion.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee structural engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of designs, plans, and documents within quality and cost parameters.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct technical reviews, quality assurance checks, and risk assessments for ongoing projects.

Technical Expertise:

  • Develop structural designs for buildings, retaining walls, and other structures using software tools such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, and RCDC.
  • Create detailed engineering calculations, load assessments, and finite element analysis.
  • Evaluate design assumptions and methodologies against applicable international and local standards.

Communication Skills:

  • Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders on structural matters.
  • Participate in design charrettes, pre-construction meetings, and construction progress meetings.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in leadership roles.
