Job Opportunity

This role involves price book maintenance in an enterprise system, setting up new vendors, updating product information, creating promotional activities for stores and understanding retail point of sale interfaces. Troubleshooting store issues and providing support to the team will also be required.

The Key Responsibilities include:

  • Entering and maintaining item level details in a corporate pricebook database
  • Adding and updating pricing and promotions from multiple sources in the system
  • Maintaining and cleaning pricebook data; ensuring regular upkeep of item information and discontinuing old items
  • Collaborating daily with operations, accounting, marketing, and vendor partners
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving problems through reporting and other means
  • Ability to solve problems on the first call
  • Escalating calls as needed
  • Responding to all calls, email, and personnel requests within the same day
  • Documenting, tracking, and monitoring problems to ensure timely resolutions
  • Maintaining and supporting the retail pricebook
  • Additional duties as assigned

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Prior experience in PDI/pricebook management, marketing, or accounting is beneficial
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Willingness to learn store applications including PDI software
  • Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up
  • Excellent data entry and communication skills
  • Candidates must be articulate in verbal and written communications
  • Team players who are flexible to changing assignments and direction
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
