Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Transfer Pricing: Create workings for transfers between sister entities.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage along with bank payments, AP invoice booking, and payroll for the Indian entity.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with multiple teams internally (various LOBs/program owners) for AP and taxes-related activities.
  • Statutory Audits: Participate in statutory audits, due diligences, internal audits in a timely manner.
  • Book Closing: Responsible for monthly book closing (includes BRS, invoice booking, accruals, capitalization, etc).
  • Fixed Asset Register: Manage the FAR with reconciliation with books of accounts.
  • Vendor Ledger: Review vendor ledger's and aging on a monthly basis.
  • Cash Flow Projection: Prepare cash flow projection.
  • Financial Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial statement.
  • Financial Policies: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal control.
  • Financial System Evaluation: Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • CA Mandatory: Chartered Accountant certification is mandatory.
  • Corporate Experience: 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a corporate environment, preferably with global exposure.
  • Start-up Experience: Experience in start-ups that have achieved scale, working in technology-enabled space is a plus.
  • Coordination Skills: Demonstrated ability to handle coordination with multiple internal/external teams.
  • IndAS/IFRS Knowledge: Knowledge of IndAS/IFRS is a must.
  • MS Office Skills: Excellent working skills of MS – office (word, excel, PowerPoint).
  • ERP Environment: Knowledge of ERP environment (specifically SAP, COUPA, DarwinBox) will be an added plus.
