Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Expert to manage our daily accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining strong banking relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
  2. Prepare year-end financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
  3. Handle GST-related matters, including responding to notices and ensuring timely compliance
  4. Manage foreign Letters of Credit (LCs) and understand related import/export regulations
  5. Liaise with banks for credit renewals and maintain strong banking relationships
  6. Coordinate with external and internal auditors and facilitate audit processes
  7. Analyse financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business growth
  8. Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant financial laws and regulations
  9. Maintain cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting
  10. Support management with financial analysis and reports as needed

Requirements:

  • CMA Semi-qualified or CA
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure sector
  • Proven experience in handling GST compliance and responding to notices
  • Demonstrated knowledge in managing foreign LCs and staying updated on RBI and import/export regulations
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
