Job Title: Vice President, Governance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of governance officers to monitor process reviews and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure teams adhere to strong governance principles for optimal performance.
  • Optimize and automate existing processes and develop new ones to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage and motivate the team by leading by example and inspiring team members to excel.
  • Provide quality support and guidance on best practices to maintain high governance integrity.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of systems, people, and processes in client lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills to resolve issues.
  • Identify red flag situations and escalate according to established protocols.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Control, Compliance, AML, and Investigation functions.
  • Proficient in performance metrics and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to teach and coach others.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills required.
  • Intermediate level PowerPoint skills required.
  • SharePoint administration experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
