Technical Leader for IT Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT professional to join our team as an Associate Director of IT.

This role will involve overseeing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of hardware and software across our Innovation and IT infrastructure strategy.

You will be responsible for developing configuration and monitoring standards for network performance and implementing controls to ensure these standards are maintained.

In addition, you will evaluate business needs, objectives, and goals, researching and identifying Innovation and IT applications necessary to meet the needs of our IE Network.

Key responsibilities include analyzing complex Innovation and IT business needs presented by users and customers, recommending technical solutions, developing plans for the implementation of new projects, coordinating process deliverables with project leaders and stakeholders, and designing, configuring, and optimizing hardware, operating systems, network, storage, and backup devices for reliability, availability, and performance in a physical or virtual environment.

You will also manage the calendar related to recurrent Innovation and IT activities, work with other Innovation and IT teams and third-party support vendors for resolution of problems, manage the execution of Innovation and IT study archival requests, exports, and other activities, ensure that the team performs their work in compliance with policies and SOPs, provide second-level escalation and after-hours support, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in IT, CIS, Computer Science, or a similar field; PACS/Clinical imaging experience is also preferred.

Experience managing and directing enterprise IT operations with 12-15 years of experience is required, and certifications such as Enterprise, networking, virtualization, or security certifications are highly valued.

In addition, you must have familiarity with the design, installation, validation, and compliant operation of complex clinical imaging data software and hardware systems, proficiency in all MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet software, ability to provide quality control review to working documents and reports regarding technical, scientific, or research that have IT implications, demonstrated proficiency in maintaining desktop information technology systems and supporting network operations in a regulated environment, at least three years of ITIL experience and managing IT as a service, certification a plus, and at least five years of experience managing cloud, PAAS, or SAAS environments directly and/or through Managed Service Providers.
