Job Title: Power Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing power transmission systems, including feasibility studies, technical specifications, and project management.

  • Designing and developing power transmission systems, including feasibility studies, technical specifications, and project management.
  • Performing sag tension calculations, preparing tower spotting profiles in PLS CADD software, and selecting conductors and insulators.
  • Developing and implementing transmission line designs, including clearance calculations, conductor sizing, and selection of hardware.
  • Preparing bill of quantities and cost estimations for transmission line projects.
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in power transmission engineering.
  • Knowledge of EHV transmission lines and substations, as well as modern survey techniques.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and lead teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IS, IEC, IEEE, BIS, and CEA guidelines.
