Senior Embedded Systems Engineer - Power Electronics

About The Position:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our research and innovation division as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating embedded software and hardware systems for advanced power electronics products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Lead the end-to-end development of embedded software and hardware systems for power electronic converters, inverters, and control systems.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate closely with hardware, power electronics, and system engineers to define product specifications and integration strategies, and drive continuous innovation in power electronics.
  • Embedded Software and Hardware: Drive the architecture, design, and optimization of embedded software for microcontrollers and DSPs (STM32, Texas Instruments, PIC, etc.), and design and implement real-time embedded systems using C/C++, RTOS, and bare-metal programming.
  • Communication Protocols: Develop and validate communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Modbus, and implement advanced diagnostics.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a growing embedded team, ensuring design reviews, code quality, and testing standards, while complying with safety and EMC norms.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems engineering, with a focus on power electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded software and hardware systems, including microcontrollers and DSPs.
  • Experience with C/C++ programming languages and RTOS.
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
