SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant

As a seasoned SAP expert, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining plant operations and equipment maintenance through the implementation, support, and enhancement of the SAP Plant Maintenance module.

This position involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide end-to-end support to ensure seamless plant operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting SAP PM module implementations, rollouts, and support projects from inception to delivery.
  • Configuring and customizing Plant Maintenance processes including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Overseeing master data management such as equipment, functional locations, BOM, task lists, and work centers.
  • Developing and managing comprehensive maintenance plans, notifications, work orders, and scheduling initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration with MM, PP, FI/CO, and QM modules.
  • Conducting requirement gathering workshops, gap analysis, and solution design sessions.
  • Preparing and reviewing functional specifications for RICEFW components.
  • Supporting testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and providing end-user training/documentation.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of SAP PM solutions and resolving post-implementation issues.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 7+ years of SAP PM experience in implementation and support, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PM processes: preventive, corrective, refurbishment, calibration, and breakdown maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience in master data configuration and maintenance planning.
  • Good understanding of integration with MM (materials), PP (production), and FI/CO (finance & controlling).
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA PM is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments.

A good understanding of industry standards and best practices is also essential.
