Treasury professionals have a significant impact on our business success. This role will support the Treasury Head in managing treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash flow management, banking, credit/debt arrangements, investments, and Forex hedging.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the setup of internal policies, controls, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include preparing and monitoring company cash forecasts and flows, managing daily/monthly banking, reporting, and coordination for balance confirmation.

This role also involves coordinating with wealth management teams to maximize returns within guidelines signed off by the Board.

The ideal candidate will minimize currency risk/exposure by securing hedges, setting up inter-company cross-currency exchange, and ensure accurate reporting.

Additionally, this role requires supporting risk management, insuring, and covering all risks, including forex, fixed assets, cash, inventory, etc.

Negotiation and evaluation of limits, ODs, loans, debt structures, and investments with bankers are also key responsibilities.

Experience in evaluating, developing, and implementing cash management and other systems to optimize efficiency and cost is highly valued.

This role drives digitization and implements innovative solutions across O2C and P2P processes, staying updated on fintech and market developments.

Key Requirements:
  • Treasury Knowledge: Understanding and hands-on experience in treasury functions, including cash flow management, financial instruments, risk management, forex management, liquidity, investment/wealth management, etc.
  • Financial Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of banking setup and processes, financial markets, forex, treasury risks, financial instruments, debt instruments, etc.
    • Sound understanding of accounting principles.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Banking/insurance relationships and understanding of covenants.
    • Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team.
    • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
