Job Title: Formulation and Quality Control Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the formulation and quality control of dog and cat nutraceutical supplements.

Our company is committed to providing high-quality products that meet the needs of pets and their owners. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in veterinary nutraceuticals and animal health formulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and optimizing formulations for dogs and cats syrups, tonics, and nutraceutical supplements
  • Selecting suitable excipients, preservatives, flavors, and stabilizers that are safe for animals
  • Leading small-scale batch preparation (mixing, filtration, filling, capping, labeling) for pet health supplements
  • Maintaining hygiene and cleaning SOPs for pet product manufacturing
  • Conducting basic QC tests (pH, clarity, taste/palatability, viscosity, appearance) specific to dogs and cats supplements
  • Approving/rejecting incoming raw materials (vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts for pets)

Requirements:

  • Educational background in B.Pharm / M.Pharm or M.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Food Technology / Veterinary Science / Nutraceuticals
  • 2–5 years of experience in pet health supplements / veterinary nutraceuticals / animal syrups or tonic manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience in both formulation and QC for dogs and cats products

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of veterinary nutraceutical ingredients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbal extracts safe for dogs and cats)
  • Practical experience with syrup/tonic production process (mixing → filtration → filling) for animal products
  • Ability to work independently and teach/mentor
  • Familiarity with QC lab equipment (pH meter, weighing balance, viscometer)
  • Good documentation habits (batch sheets, QC records)
