Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist and be part of making personalized and affordable learning accessible for students worldwide.

You will collaborate closely with the CTO, product managers, and developers to ensure a seamless learning experience for students. Your expertise in manual and automated testing, problem-solving abilities, and strong commitment to product excellence will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our product.

About the Role:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thoroughness and effectiveness.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and improve product stability.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to troubleshoot issues and implement timely fixes.
  • Create and maintain test documentation to enhance QA workflows and improve communication.
  • Conduct manual testing and build automated test suites for faster release cycles and improved efficiency.
  • Evaluate usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility to ensure an exceptional user experience.
  • Track and report bugs using JIRA/Trello; manage testing cycles with TestRail or similar tools.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements and release management practices to optimize product delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of QA experience, preferably in a product-based company with a focus on innovation and growth.
  • Proficiency with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and bug tracking systems (JIRA, Trello).
  • Hands-on knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to navigate complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Passion for product quality, continuous improvement, and lifelong learning.
