About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer with expertise in Cloud Data Solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Database Development along with hands-on experience in ETL/ELT Pipelines. This role will focus on building, optimising, and maintaining robust data solutions to support business operations and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise database queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data processing and reporting.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Perform database design, query performance tuning, and data integration.
  • Manage data workflows between on-premise systems and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of data solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in database development (query optimisation, indexing).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and transformation.
  • Proficient in database modeling, database design, and data analysis.

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to cloud-based technologies and data platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, or Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
