Director of Academic Excellence

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. As the Director of Academic Excellence, you will provide strategic direction, ensure quality assurance, and manage the operational aspects of the IBDP.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in IB education. If you are passionate about global-minded education and want to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide vision and direction for the IBDP team
  • Authorization and Evaluation: Ensure compliance with IB standards and regulations
  • Programme Oversight and Compliance: Monitor and improve programme delivery
  • Curriculum and Academic Quality: Develop and implement high-quality curriculum
  • Staff Development and Performance: Foster a culture of excellence among staff
  • Student Support and Achievement: Enhance student learning outcomes and well-being
  • Communication and Community Engagement: Build partnerships with parents and the community

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-related field (Master's preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IB education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience with IBDP curriculum and assessment
  • Familiarity with digital platforms such as ManageBac, IBIS, and MyIB
