Academic Excellence Leader

The Academic Excellence Leader plays a pivotal role in driving academic success at our school. This position involves overseeing curriculum and instruction, ensuring effective lesson planning, and promoting modern pedagogical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Oversight: Review and monitor curriculum to ensure alignment with modern strategies and standards.
  • Teacher Support & Training: Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance lesson planning and instructional delivery.
  • Classroom Observations: Conduct regular classroom observations to evaluate teaching effectiveness and provide targeted feedback.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare academic performance reports and maintain open communication with leadership.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent implementation of approved teaching and learning strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Education or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in an instructional leadership role.
  • Proven track record of implementing teaching and learning improvements at scale.
  • Strong ability to integrate technology into academic planning, instruction, and monitoring.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of modern pedagogical practices and curriculum design.
  • Excellent observation, feedback, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different sections.
  • Data-driven approach to tracking academic performance.
