Job Overview

Trendsetters Infoservices is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Education and Government Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strategic relationships with key customers, and developing and executing sales plans to achieve business objectives.

Sales Goals and Objectives

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets in the Education and Government sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and potential customer accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand into adjacent segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Education and Government industries, including trends, challenges, and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasting and pipeline updates to senior management.
  • Represent Trendsetters Infoservices at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and establish thought leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, meetings, and interactions with customers and prospects.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong network of contacts within the Education and Government industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers and prospects.
