Employee Relations Lead

About Our Organization

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Employee Relations initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Foster harmonious industrial relations by engaging with employee unions, ensuring smooth committee functioning, and managing long-term settlements.
    • Develop and execute employee engagement strategies to create a positive work environment.
  • Temporary Workforce Management:
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of temporary staff in collaboration with shared services teams to align with business objectives.
    • Implement innovative strategies to engage and retain temporary workers, optimizing productivity.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Administer disciplinary procedures based on labor law application.
    • Ensure adherence to statutory compliance and manage legal matters, including labor department proceedings and court cases, with legal counsel coordination.
  • Contract Labour Administration:
    • Supervise contract labor operations and ensure compliance with relevant statutes.
    • Manage general administration and establishment matters supporting employees across categories.
  • HR Projects:
    • Design and implement HR and employee relations projects aligned with business strategies and objectives.
  • People Development:
    • Drive competency development initiatives for teams, aligned with current and future business needs and industry trends.

The successful candidate should possess:

  • MBA or MSW with Industrial Relations and Human Resources specialization
  • 14+ years of experience in Employee Relations
  • Full proficiency in Kannada language
  • Extensive experience in Long Term Settlements
  • Expertise in managing union relations and collective bargaining processes
  • Proven ability in designing interventions for effective employee engagement
  • Advanced knowledge of labor laws relevant to factory operations
  • Strong understanding of conciliation procedures and labor-related court proceedings
