Apparel Designer Role

We seek an accomplished Apparel Designer to lead the end-to-end design process for our seasonal men's collections. This role demands a deep understanding of market trends, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to create innovative, on-brand designs.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in men's apparel design, preferably in a retail or brand environment.
  • Strong skills in trend analysis, sketching (hand or digital), and creating detailed tech-packs.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
  • A solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Seasonal Design Cycle: Drive the full design process for men's collections—trend forecasting, concept development, sketching, and creating accurate tech-packs.
  2. Material Sourcing & Coordination: Oversee fabric, trims, and swatch selection; collaborate with suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective materials.
  3. Sample Development & Fit Evaluation: Manage prototype creation and fittings; provide precise revisions and constructive feedback to vendors and internal teams.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sourcing, production, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution from design concept to retail launch.
  5. Design Documentation: Maintain organized archives of mood boards, tech-packs, and digital assets for reference and future use.
  6. Brand Alignment & Commercial Goals: Ensure all designs reflect brand identity, meet timeline requirements, and align with overall business objectives.
