Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage revenue accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely recognition in compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
  • Review customer contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue treatment, including multi-element arrangements and variable considerations.
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, and financial planning and analysis teams to assess deal structures and ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies.
  • Prepare and maintain revenue schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Analyze deferred revenue, billing schedules, and revenue forecasts to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
  • Partner with IT and finance systems teams to enhance automation and reporting capabilities related to revenue.
  • Support external audits and internal controls by providing documentation and insights into revenue processes.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or revenue recognition, preferably in a SaaS, technology, or services environment, and hold a CPA or CA qualification.

A strong understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15, proficiency in ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills are essential.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and communication skills, who can work effectively in a team environment.
