
Asia Pacific Risk Manager

We are seeking a seasoned security expert to lead our Asia Pacific team. As a Senior Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, conducting threat and vulnerability assessments, and providing incident response support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct thorough threat and vulnerability assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop corrective action plans.
- Provide incident response support in the event of a security breach or other emergency situation.
Requirements:
Security Management:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in law enforcement, investigation, and/or physical security is required. A solid background in effective risk management is essential, with previous experience within the financial sector being preferable but not essential.
Experience working with threat and vulnerability planning and incident response is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a sound working knowledge of leading industry security tools, policies, processes, and procedures are also necessary.
Education:A bachelors degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field is commonly required.
Certifications:Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) can be highly beneficial.Technical Skills:
Knowledge of security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and familiarity with the latest security technologies are essential.
Leadership and Management Skills:Experience in managing security personnel, executing security policies, and coordinating with other departments is necessary.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external agencies are required.
Problem-Solving Abilities:The ability to quickly assess situations and make informed decisions during security incidents is crucial.
Compliance Knowledge:An understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to physical security is necessary.
Performance Measures:Reducing incidents of workplace violence, peer feedback from all departments and business units, delivering efficiencies through continuous process improvement, minimizing customer claims and cash losses, and living the values of accountability, collaboration, and innovation are key performance measures.
