The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid background in testing enterprise applications. This position requires experience in creating test plans, executing functional and regression testing, and documenting outcomes.
- Design, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reporting.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
- Analyze test results, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.
- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies for test readiness.
- Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior testers and support the QA team in achieving best practices.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management tools.
- Proficiency in writing test cases, bug reports, and test documentation.
- Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to handle complex systems testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certification (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.
Experience:
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably in telecom or enterprise applications.
- Experience in telecom software or network management systems is a strong plus.
