Job Title: Data Governance Lead

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our organization's data governance initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, security and compliance.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced data governance leader to join our team. As a Data Governance Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the integrity and consistency of our organization's data assets.

  • Data Quality and Integrity: Design and implement processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness and timeliness across all systems and applications.
  • Data Security: Develop and enforce policies and procedures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
  • Compliance: Ensure that our organization's data practices meet all relevant regulatory requirements, including GDPR and HIPAA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Data Governance Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Lead Data Quality Improvement Initiatives: Identify areas for improvement and develop plans to enhance data quality, reduce errors and improve overall data management.
  • Maintain Data Security and Compliance: Develop and enforce policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven Experience in Data Governance: Minimum 7 years of experience in data governance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Data Management Tools: Expertise in data management tools such as Informatica TDM, Delphix and IBM InfoSphere Optim.
  • Cloud-based Solutions: Familiarity with cloud-based test data management solutions such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Audit and Compliance: Experience with auditing and compliance functions, including GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Change Management: Strong change management skills, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
