Job Title: Production Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to supervise and improve production by ensuring the right quantity of products are delivered. This role requires a professional who can monitor and control plant performance, prepare for size changes, and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Supervision: Ensure efficient production processes and oversee production team members.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and control plant performance parameters on extruders as per SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
  • Process Improvement: Review efficiencies and eliminate waste within the manufacturing process.
  • Maintenance & Cleanliness: Maintain the machine and its surroundings in a clean and organized state.
  • Change Management: Prepare and carry out jobs for size changes.
  • Waste Management: Arrange to send shift rejection, wastage, and lumps to the proper place.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in supervising and improving production processes.
  • Strong knowledge of plant performance parameters and operating extruders.
  • Expertise in reviewing efficiencies and eliminating waste within manufacturing.
  • Ability to manage machine maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Experience in preparing for size changes and managing rework.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process abnormalities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
