Job Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to provide expert legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters. The role involves ensuring compliance and supporting business operations with risk-mitigated solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements to protect the company's interests.
  • Provide strategic advice on corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory matters to support business growth.
  • Support business teams in client negotiations and enable smooth deal closures by leveraging expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, IT laws, and international regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA to mitigate legal risks.
  • Manage legal risks and proactively provide strategic advice to leadership to inform business decisions.
  • Liaise with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution to protect the company's interests.
  • Develop policies, processes, and compliance frameworks for global operations to ensure consistency and adherence to regulations.
  • Conduct internal training and awareness sessions on compliance and legal best practices to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Possess a strong academic background in law with an LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
  • Have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in contract drafting and negotiation with international clients and familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws.
  • Display excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
