Senior Enterprise Solution Strategist

About the Role:

This position oversees the strategic design, development, and governance of the platform, aligning capabilities with long-term business objectives.

The successful candidate will lead the integration of the proposed platform with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive platform strategy and technical roadmap that supports scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business goals.
• Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce governance frameworks, design principles, and coding standards for the platform.
• Integration & Interoperability: Ensure the integration of the proposed platform with other enterprise systems to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to ServiceNow solution architects, developers, and admins.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest releases and features, evaluate new platform functionalities, and recommend their adoption to drive improvement and innovation on the platform.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business leaders, IT executives, and enterprise architects to translate business objectives into ServiceNow solutions.
• Platform Performance: Ensure the platform's reliability, security, and performance by implementing best practices for instance health, monitoring, and upgrade management.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Work Experience: ~10+ years of experience in IT, including several years in an architecture leadership role.
• ServiceNow Expertise: Proven experience architecting ServiceNow implementations at scale, designing platform architecture, data models, integrations, and customizations.
• ITSM/Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL frameworks.
• Technical Skills: Broad knowledge of enterprise technology stacks and architecture principles.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into an architectural blueprint for ServiceNow.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Education: Master's degree in a relevant field or MBA is a plus.
• Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Familiarity with enterprise architecture methodologies and how ServiceNow aligns within those frameworks.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience implementing ServiceNow in multiple industries or large/global environments.
• Legacy Systems & Cloud: Background in integrating ServiceNow with legacy systems or modern cloud services can be advantageous.
• Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a leadership role such as Lead Architect or Platform Owner.
